Ulaanbaatar → Karakorum

Depart Ulaanbaatar at 9am and travel across open steppes, mountain ranges, and river valleys en route to Karakorum. Visit Erdene Zuu Monastery and learn about traditional nomadic life along the way before spending the night in a traditional Mongolian ger.

Day 2

Karakorum → Tsenkher Hot Springs

Head to the Tsenkher Hot Springs in the heart of Arkhangai Province. Relax and unwind in the naturally warm mineral waters, surrounded by rolling hills and dramatic landscapes, one of the most memorable stops of the journey.

Day 3

Tsenkher Hot Springs → Ulaanbaatar (via Elsen Tasarkhai)

After breakfast, drive toward Elsen Tasarkhai, often called the 'Semi-Gobi' for its blend of sand dunes, grasslands, and rocky mountains, with scenic stops in river valleys and mountain viewpoints along the way. Enjoy a camel ride over the dunes and lunch before the afternoon drive back to Ulaanbaatar.
